Intex becomes the first company to bring Google certified VR Cardboard in India along with its new smartphone Aqua View. Intex EYELET is the first device which works with Google Cardboard Device. The both comes with a combined price of just 8999 INR.
Intex Aqua View is coupled with 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 2GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. It has 16GB of internal storage with a 32GB expandable microSD card slot. The smartphone is equipped with 8-megapixel rear facing camera with a 5-megapixel front shooter.
Intex Aqua View is a Dual-SIM smartphone that supports 4G LTE and voLTE connectivity, however only one will run 4G at a time. Other connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0. It’ll be running on Android 5.1 lollipop and is packed with 2200mAh of battery. It comes with the latest bio-metric security – fingerprint sensor at the front panel.
For the VR cardboard, the Intex Aqua View has preinstalled app which will be compatible with it. Intex has done a good job by making the EYELET a universal device which can be used with any smartphone under 6-inch screen size.
