Mi Mix: New concept smartphone by Xiaomi

Xiaomi introduced a new “Concept Smartphone”, Mi Mix in the market. It has edge to edge display and has gone bezel less. The display screen is of 6.4-inch which occupies 91.3% of the front side of the phone. The Mi Mix features an 1080p LCD screen on it. All the body of the Mi Mix, as well as the buttons all are made of ceramic.

Talking about the hardware specifications, it got a Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.0 storage as similar specs inside Google’s Pixels. The phone also has a 16-megapixel rear camera and a small custom made 5-megapixel front shooter at lower panel of front screen. It has a headphone jack, fingerprint sensor on the back and dual-SIM support. It supports LTE Cat 11 with 600MBps download. There is massive 4,400 mAh battery with quick charge 3.0.

Additionally, the proximity sensors has been replaced by ultrasound in it while the front speaker was swapped with a piezoelectric speaker that uses the metal frame to generate sound.

The Mi Mix is priced at $516 for the 4GB RAM variant and at $590 you’ll get 6GB RAM variant. The smartphone will go on sale in China from 4th of November. It’s sure that the smartphone will create a hype with its new concepts. Also it’s a great initiative by the company to lunch a concept phone which can be purchased.
