Samsung has launched its first Galaxy C-series smartphone-Samsung galaxy C5. The smartphone is available only in china in gold, pink-gold , grey and silver colors. The phone is up for pre orders and will go on sale in first week of June. The 32 GB variant will cost 2199 yuan (approx. 22520 INR) and the 64 GB will be available for 2399 yuan (approx. 24560 INR).
The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with 4 GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 32 GB/64 GB of internal memory with is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card slot. It features 5.2 inch full HD AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
The fingerprint sensor is on the home button as well as the whole body is of metal frame. It will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is packed with 2600mAh battery. The rear camera is of 16-megappixel with f/1.9 aperture and dual-tone LED flash and the front camera is of 8-megapixel. It is a dual-SIM smartphone with 4G LTE but on only one sim. Other connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS.
