Expanding its portfolio in X series, Sony announces its new flagship smartphone Xperia XZ and Xperia X compact. Company unveiled the smartphones at the ongoing IFA 2016 Berlin. The Xperia XZ is priced at 599 EURO (44,500 INR) while the other Xperia X compact is priced at 379 Euro (28,300 INR).
Sony Xperia XZ is the flagship by the company, offers high end specifications like quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB of onboard storage with a 200GB expandable microSD card slot. It features 5.2-inch HD display with 1920x1080pixel resolution. Xperia XZ supports 4G and has fingerprint sensor, Type-C port. It sports 23-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and IMX300 sensor, at the front it is equipped with 13-megapixel shooter. The device is backed by 2900mAh of battery and supports Quick Charge.
Sony Xperia X Compact features a 4.6-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. It is powered by hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It also has 32GB of internal storage with a 256GB expandable microSD a slot. It also has the same 23-megapixel rear shooter as the Xperia XZ but the front is of 5-megapixel. It also features fingerprint sensor, Type-C port and 4G support (nano-SIM). It is equipped with 2700mAh of battery.
