Xiaomi has launched its new wearable device, Mi Band 2 , in China . It is the company’s third activity tracker and comes after Mi band and Mi band pulse. It is priced at $23(approx. 1500 INR) and will go on sales after June 7 in China. The band comes in four colour options namely black, blue orange and green.
The fitness tracking device comes with a 0.42 inch OLED screen and is backed by 70mAh battery which can last for around 20 days. The device can track your steps and monitor your heart rate as well. It can also be used to monitor sleep patterns. It comes with a single physical button through which you can scroll three screens – time, heart rate and steps. It is water and dust resistant. It is built of skin-friendly thermoplastic elastomers material.
The Mi Band 2 offers Bluetooth connectivity and give users notifications for their incoming calls , messages ,alarms and so on. Apart from this, it will give you inactivity alerts if you have been sitting for too long. The device uses Bluetooth 4.0 and can work with both Android 4.4 and above as well as iOS 7.0 and above.
