Xiaomi Redmi 3S announced with Snapdragon 430 SoC

Adding a new member to its Redmi series, Xiaomi brings the new Redmi 3S in China. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S comes in two variant one with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage while the another one of 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The price tag of the smartphone is CNY 699 (approx. 7000 INR) for 2GB/16GB variant and CNY 899 (approx. 9000 INR) for 3GB/32GB variant. The global availability is not fixed but currently it’ll be sold only in China. The smartphone is just 144gm in weight and comes in Grey, Gold and Silver colour variant.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S is coupled with 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.1GHz with 2GB/3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. The onboard storage will be 16GB/32GB and can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot. There is a finger print sensor at the back panel of the smartphone.

The smartphone will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 7 on the top of it. It is equipped with 13-megapixel rear facing camera with f/2.0, PDAF and LED flash while the front shooter is of 5-megapixel. It is a Dual-SIM smartphone (micro + nano/microSD) which supports 4G LTE. It has 4100mAh of battery and connectivity features like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, microUSB and GPS/A-GPS.
